Our First House

After a whirlwind week of closing, painting, packing, and moving we are finally here!  We were so blessed to have Mimi and Grandad here to entertain the babers all week.  I'm sure he was a little confused about everything being in boxes and then sleeping in a new house, but he had his Grandparents here to spoil him throughout the process, so of course he was thrilled!    Aunt Jen flew all the way from Minnesota to help us paint.  And paint we did.  For three days straight.  After some "perfect white" drama (literally trying 3 different whites on the walls) we finally finished both bedrooms, the living room, dining room, kitchen and laundry room.  Insane.  I couldn't have done it without Jen's rolling abilities and crazy energy level!  More photos to come as we start to unpack and put our house together!

Sherbourne Love

We are moving!  To a wonderful place called Valley Village.  It is over the hill...in the valley...but it is quiet, and full of kids and schools, and wonderful.  The house is picture perfect (or will be after a few projects of course).  As we pack up, we are definitely starting to get nostalgic about this adorable home on Sherbourne.  We moved in as newlyweds, began our life together and had a cuddly, loving little baby boy here.  It has been an amazing three years and we have countless memories that we will cherish forever.  As we pack up, we've been snapping lots of photos around the house so baby boy can see where he was born.  Isn't it so great that we now live in a world with digital cameras, online photo albums and blogs so he will be able to see where he was born??
