It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Even thought we will only be in LA for another week, we (Mama) insisted on getting a Christmas tree for Baby Adam's first Christmas.  Dada begrudgingly agreed so we set out to the nearest tree-filled parking lot to buy Baby Adam's first Douglas Fir.

Thanksgiving in Mankato

So many things to be thankful for this year.  Our beautiful, healthy, happy baby boy, our loving and supporting families and friends, and holiday traditions that seem to get better and better every year.  We celebrated Thanksgiving with the Haefners this year in Mankato.  The Haefner house was full of kids, food, wine and laughter.  We have some wonderful family traditions, making Christmas candy with the girls, cutting down the family Christmas tree, a gorgeous Thanksgiving dinner (thanks Rick and Suzanne!), another gorgeous family dinner (thanks Kim and Dan!), and of course black Friday shopping.  We had a wonderful time and can't wait to be back (in a week) for Christmas.  And can't wait to go be in NY the week after that to see all the Youngs!
